Fibre Digital Audio Transceivers

The ALFTECH Fibre Digital Audio Transceivers offers versatile fibre transmission of CD quality audio and 24 digital inputs, which can be connected directly to relays, switches or similar contacts.

The FDAT Hardware are used in passenger terminals to transmit the announcers' audio message to different segments of the passenger terminal, which is relayed to different zones via the accompanied encoded 24 digital input selection.
The FDAT Hardware also allow audio transmission and distribution across large distances in such applications as emergency voice evacuation messages and informative announcements in Shopping Malls, Building complexes, Industrial Parks, and Airport, Rail & Shipping Terminal buildings.

The Transmitter (FDAT-TX) transmits dual 2 channel balanced audio (or optionally 4), and 24 digital inputs to the receiver (FDAT-RX) via a fiber-optic cable. The transmitter (FDAT-TX) receives balanced audio inputs and converts it to digital format. This digital signal is combined with the 24 digital inputs, and then transmitted via fibre-optic cable to the receiver (FDAT-TX). The Receiver (FDAT-RX) separates the audio data from the digital data and transmits and activates the appropriate output.
